2010 sees Bournemouth celebrate its 200th year.

A year-long programme of celebrations will take place, with events and activities across the town. We have a long list of community events, from school competitions to theatre productions, Scout and Guide activities to natural history events, food festivals and dance contests, all lined up for the Bournemouth 200 programme.

The town’s Bicentenary celebrations will very much be owned by the people of Bournemouth.  This is a unique opportunity for people of all ages and from all communities, whatever their interests, to get involved.   If you are planning an event, an activity or an initiative of any kind in 2010, why not get in touch and become part of Bournemouth 200?
