What We Do
Helping adults to live safely and independently in the community
It’s easy to take living independently for granted. We know just how important it is.
We provide a range of different types of support for:
- Older people
- Disabled people
- People with a learning disability
- People with mental health needs
We try to to help you live as independently as you can in your own home, where possible. We provide information and advice about support services that are available from a wide range of sources.
We may also assess your needs to see if they are eligible for adult social care. If they are, we ask about your finances to see how much you can afford to pay towards the care.
You may need support for a short time to help you regain skills and confidence, or for a longer period if you need ongoing support.
Even if your needs are not eligible for our support, we always give you as much information and advice as we can so that you can arrange the help you need.
