Santander BillPay


About Santander BillPay

You can pay most Bournemouth Borough Council account, invoice or bill, on-line with a debit card (credit cards are not accepted) via Santander BillPay.


Santander BillPay is an external website and is not part of the Bournemouth Borough Council website.


Bournemouth Borough Council cannot accept responsibility for the information supplied on the Santander BillPay website or accept any liability for payments not reaching the account, if paid by this method.


Payments for Trade Refuse Collections and Penalty Parking Notices cannot be made via Santander BillPay.

To Use BillPay

To access Santander BillPay you can follow the link or copy the website address| into your internet browser address bar.


If you haven't used Santander BillPay before, you will need to register for this service, by following the on-screen instructions.


When you are ready to make payment, you will need to:

  • Have your bill/invoice/account number and your debit card to hand, as you will be required to supply these details.
  • Select 'Bournemouth B.C.' from the drop down menu.
  • Select one of the following options from the second drop down menu depending on the invoice you wish to pay:
  • For Council Tax select: 'Bournemouth B.C. (Council Tax)'
  • For Benefit Overpayments select: 'Bournemouth B.C. (Benefit Overpayments)'
  • For Council Rents select: 'Bournemouth B.C. (Rents)'
  • For Business Rates select: 'Bournemouth B.C. (NNDR)'
  • For Non-Residential Charges select: ‘Bournemouth B.C. (Social Services Non-Residential Charges)’
  • For invoice references beginning with ‘P’ select 'Bournemouth B.C. (Misc Accounts 'P' Invoices)'

If you need any assistance with Santander's BillPay, please call their Help Desk on 0151 966 2105. This service is available from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
