We protect, advise and support law-abiding businesses. 

It is our job to tackle unfair or illegal trading practices within the Borough of Bournemouth.  By discouraging and taking swift action against "Rogue Businesses" or "Cowboy Traders" and any commercial activity which endangers its customers or disregards the law, we protect residents, legitimate businesses and visitors to Bournemouth.

• Our Business Advice service is pleased to help Bournemouth businesses with advice about the consumer law. Our "business-friendly" enforcement policy aims to encourage and promote fair trading, by assisting honest traders to 'get it right first time' and avoid costly mistakes.
