How to Enrol

Complete an enrolment form| from our website, from the Skills and Learning brochure or from the Oakdale Centre.

Post your completed enrolment form with payment to Skills and Learning, FREEPOST (SWB21126), Oakdale Centre, Wimborne Road, Poole BH15 3BF. Please do not send cash through the post.

Term time: Monday -Thursday 9:00-17:00 and 18:15-21:00 Friday 9:00-16:30

Out of term: Monday -Thursday 9:00-17:00, Friday 9:00-16:30

Bournemouth Learning Centre, Ensbury Park, Bournemouth BH10 4HG

July, August and September: Wednesdays 9:30-12:30 and 13:00-16:30

July and September additional: Tuesdays 9:30-12:30 and Thursdays 13:00-16:30



 

Special Requirements

It is essential that you tell us about your needs and any special requirements during the enrolment process. This enables us to make arrangements and to avoid making commitments we are unable to keep.

Details will be treated in confidence and will not be given to others without your permission.

 
A decision will be made about course viability 5 working days before the first session. All learners enrolled on a course which has been cancelled will be contacted and offered a transfer to a similar course or a refund.

Learners who attend the first session of a course and find it is not suitable for them must request a transfer to another class or a refund BEFORE the start of the second session of the course.

An appropriate proportion of fees may be refunded in the following circumstances:

A class is closed due to low attendance and/or where the number of learners does not justify continuation of the class at the discretion of Skills & Learning| Bournemouth and Poole

For medical reasons; a learner must supply a medical certificate or letter from their Doctor.

 

Learners may obtain a refund of the course fee they have paid in the following circumstances:

  • Courses which are advertised to run for 3 or more sessions: A request is received by the Main Office within 5 days of the start of the course or date of joining the course, whichever is the later. Please note: A learner is deemed to have joined a course on the date of the first available session following payment of the course fee.
  • Courses which are advertised to run for less than 3 sessions: A request is received by the Main Office at least 10 days before the start of the course.

Please note: Examination fees are not refundable.
