Assets
- Each Service must maintain inventories for all assets including furniture, fittings and equipment. These must record an adequate description and estimated value of assets.
- All attractive/portable items must be security marked as belonging to the Council and wherever possible kept securely.
- Inventories must be checked at least annually to verify the details.
- Any variations must be noted, and if over £5,000 must be reported to the Section 151 Officer, and the Business Unit Head, who will report to the Cabinet.
