17. CONTRACT VALUE AND RATIO TO ANNUAL TURNOVER

17.1. In order to reduce the risk to the Council arising from failure of contractors, the Director must ensure that the value of work awarded to any one contractor is not disproportionate to the contractor's total turnover. Where there is any doubt, advice should be sought from the Director of Central Services.
