23. EU AND BRITISH STANDARDS

23.1. Where the Director considers it appropriate, the contract will require compliance with EU Standards. Where there is no relevant EU Standard, the British Standard Specification or British Standard Code of Practice issued by the British Standards Institution or Public Authority Standard will be complied with.
