Full Council meets every six weeks with a summer recess during August. Full Council decides which Councillors are members of the Cabinet and will approve budgets and policies suggested by the Cabinet. It is the job of Council to make the biggest decisions, such as setting the Council tax each year.

One of Full Council's major jobs will be to openly question the decisions of the Cabinet, to ensure they are in the best interests of the Town and its residents.
