- Your House, Home and Neighbourhood - Your Council is landlord to more than 15,000 local people and a source of help with accommodation for many more. Through its Community Development programme, your Council is working to create safer, more prosperous and better neighbourhoods for all.
- Your Roads and Pavements - Your Council is responsible for maintaining local roads and highways
- Your Local Environment - Your Council is responsible for emptying the bins and for keeping our streets, parks, gardens and beaches clean
- Your Education - Your Council is responsible for supporting local schools and for creating learning opportunities for everyone
- Your Sports, Leisure and Entertainment - Your Council runs a wide range of sports, leisure, information and entertainment facilities
