In Bournemouth there are six Overview and Scrutiny Panels| with a co-ordinating Management Panel.
You can see Minutes, Agenda| and current membership of each panel.
The panels recieve support from all areas of the Council, depending on what topics they are working on. Panels undertake project work, called Task and Finish| with the overall aim of developing and improving the Council. Overview & Scrutiny has a dedicated management and support for project management and research. The panels principal roles are best described by the following four principles.

Community Representatives
As a community representative you can play an important role in the investigations and reviews carried out by Overview and Scrutiny. Community Representatives will have the opportunity to work with Councillors to contribute to the Scrutiny process.
