Welcome to North Bournemouth Children's Centres.

The former Sure Start Kinson and West Howe Children’s Centre has changed its name to incorporate the new children’s centre area of Redhill/Northbourne and Wallisdown/Winton West. Action for Children manages all the children centre activity in the North Bournemouth wards.

The central hub for delivery of services in north Bournemouth is the main children’s centre building in Moore Avenue, West Howe. Outreach services are provided from other venues in the area such as Heathlands School, Kinson Community Centre, Home-Start in Kinson, St Thomas’ Church Hall in Ensbury Park and the West Howe Clinic.

New children’s centre facilities at Kingsleigh School have now opened and this, too, will be another venue through which services will be delivered to families within pram-pushing distance of their homes.

Stay and Play sessions are offered in all the venues either as Let’s Play or Bumps and Babies groups.  Experienced staff are on hand to deal with any queries.

Families from anywhere in north Bournemouth are welcome to access services from any of the venues. The centre’s nursery, Park View, is open to anyone looking for high-quality and reasonably-priced childcare.
