Welcome to Townsend Children's Centre, a centre for children and families who live in the Strouden Park, Throop and Muscliffe areas.

We are currently developing a range of activities within the centre and beginning to work with local groups and services to make sure we are meeting the needs of families and children in the area.

We held our first Parent Forum monthly event in May to give parents the opportunity to be part of shaping our services.

Currently, we are offering: Baby clinics & development checks, under ones group, childminder group and stay and play sessions.

Townsend Children's Centre is also home to Townsend Neighbourhood Nursery which offers high-quality care and education for babies and children from birth to 5 years old. The nursery is open Monday to Friday - 8am to 6pm. Townsend Neighbourhood Nursery Tel: 01202 720427.
