Bournemouth Children come first Childminding Network
Promoting excellence in registered childminding

The Bournemouth Children come first Childminding Network is a quality-assured network promoting excellence in registered childminding.

To join the network, registered childminders must demonstrate that they meet the National Childminding Association Quality Standards. These cover all aspects of childcare, from keeping children safe to working with families.

By joining the network, your childminder has shown that they are committed to offering the best possible care for your child. You will know this because childminders who have been accepted onto the network must:

  • Achieve a minimum of a Level 3 qualification
  • Take at least three days training per year to further their professional development
  • Attend regular information sessions related to childcare
  • Request feedback from parents and children to evaluate their service
