If you have recently had a repair or are a new tenant, you may have been asked some satisfaction questions over the telephone or by a housing officer.  You may also be contacted by us in the future to find out how satisfied you are with the service.  We keep the results of these updated for you to see.

Sometimes we need tenants and leaseholders to read through a proposed policy or some proposed changes to a policy and get them to give us their views.  From time to time the groups and panels ask for a wider spectrum of residents to be asked a single question, we do both these via email, if you are happy to send us your email address.

We publish results of surveys such as the Tenants’ Survey 2014| for you to browse if you wish online.  The Tenants Annual Report| is also available for you to read, this is a summary of the work undertaken over the last financial year and a look forward to the next one.

Answer:

An important aspect of resident involvement is the work of our Standard groups and panels. These groups give tenants a voice, empowering them to improve the council’s performance in areas that matter most to them.  These groups focus on different areas and include: Home Standard Group|, Neighbourhoods and Communities Standard Group|, Tenancy Standard Group|, Senior Living Panel| and the Small Environmental Improvement Panel|.

You do not need any special training to take part in these activities; however we do offer optional training| for our involved residents.

If the activity you choose needs you to travel to take part or incurs any other expense, we can help make sure you are not out of pocket.  We will also provide refreshments while you are with us for the activity.
