We are aware that for a lot of our residents just keeping up with a busy life takes up most of their time.  Some of our residents, though, want to get more involved and have a say in the decisions we make that affect them.  We have divided the services we provide into Standard Groups| for this.

Help for Voluntary Organisations

For information and help available for voluntary organisations and volunteers, including funding, resources and information for those volunteering who are in receipt of benefits and much more:

Housing Resource Centre

At the Kinson Hub there is a Housing Resource Centre (HRC) equipped to help tenants with enquiries they may have, this includes:

• Leaflets and forms, including information on how to carry out some repairs that you may otherwise be charged for
• The latest edition of Home News and recent copies of Inside Housing magazine.
• Up to date adverts for local and community events and meetings
• Training information for Tenants and Leaseholders
• Free telephone to call any council department
• Free internet access to relevent websites for tenants and leaseholders, such as Bournemouth Borough Council, Homechoice, Direct.gov, LEASE (Leasehold Advisory Service), TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) amongst others
• From time to time you will also find consultations or questionnaires in the HRC, please fill these in, as your views really do count; there is also a suggestion box available there for tenants and leaseholders to make general suggestions about the service.
• Access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publicher, with a free printer for use by residents groups and organisations that include tenants
• If you cannot find what you are looking for in the HRC ask at reception, they will be pleased to help
