We carry out a number of repairs for Bournemouth Borough Council residents.
If you are a leaseholder| please follow the link to find out more.
Some repairs to your home are our responsibility| and some are yours|. If we carry out a repair that is your responsibility you may be charged.

You can report an emergency repair outside of normal office hours. Call Freephone 08000 281870. The line is manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You should only call us outside of office hours if you have a repair that could put you or your home in danger.
Examples of an emergency repair would be if:
Your home is insecure You have no heating or hot water between 1st November and 30th April You have a leak that cannot be contained Your toilet does not flush and is the only one in your home Complete loss of electrical or water supply

Before you report an out of hours repair make sure that it is an emergency otherwise you may be charged for our cost to attend. You will also be charged if the repair is not our responsibility.
If your repair is an emergency or urgent we will attend the same day. Please stay in your home until our engineer attends. They will fit you in as soon as they can.
If your repair is a routine repair we will attend within one week.
For planned repairs we will attend within 1 month or within 3 months, depending on the nature of the repair.
The Repairs Centre can confirm what priority has been given to your repair and make an appointment with you.
You can make a first call, morning, afternoon or avoid school run appointment with the Repairs Centre for all repairs except those where we have to attend the same day.
For Gas Servicing| we also offer evening and Saturday morning appointments.
Some repairs to your home are covered by Right to Repair Regulations. This means that if we don’t attend by the target date you may have the right to ask for a different contractor and/or compensation.
