Bournemouth proudly played host to the Olympic Torch on Friday 13 July 2012 with a spectacular evening celebration on our world famous beach.
The iconic flame reached Bournemouth on day 56 of its 70-day epic journey around the UK en route to the official opening ceremony of the Olympic and Paralympic games| in London.
Crowds and lined the streets and created an amazing atmosphere of which made a very special couple of days!
