Freestyle card

If you are over 60 or receiving some form of income support (see details below) then you can receive a discount on a selection of leisure activities.

It’s FREE to join and is available to both residents and non-residents of Bournemouth.

Discounts are available on: Bowls, tennis, golf and on certain services at the seafront.

 

There are two types available:

FREESTYLE PRIVILEGE CARD (YELLOW)

For the over 60s, valid for 3 years.

FREESTYLE PRIORITY CARD (BLUE)

For those on low income, valid for 12 months.

 

The Freestyle Priority Card (blue) is available if you are on:

• Council Tax Benefit
• Housing Benefit
• Income Support
• Income Based Job Seekers Allowance (IBJSA)
• Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
• Pension Credit
• Attendance Allowance
• Carers Allowance
• Incapacity Benefit
• Disability Living Allowance
• Industrial Injuries Benefit
• War Disablement Pension
• Working Tax Credit disablility element
• Signed pro forma letter from your GP which states that you meet the DDA definition of a disabled person
• Under 16 and dependent on any of the above (you will need to be accompanied by this parent or guardian)
• Full-time student in further or higher education (NUS or college card required)

Please supply proof of eligibility within any of the categories above when applying for your Freestyle Card.

*Blue Freestyle Priority Card are entitled to a reduced fee of 50 pence for reserving an item in any of Bournemouth Libraries.
