The Borough of Bournemouth has eleven outdoor bowling green sites and one indoor. Of the eleven outdoor sites, there are fifteen full-sizes greens, and one half-sized green. All sites have facilities for public play and are bookable locally.

Located on the cliff top above Bournemouth’s seven miles of sandy beach and with views over Poole Bay, this idyllic site is matched only by Argyle for its location. There is a café on site. A ten minute stroll through Woodland Walk brings you into the busy Boscombe and Pokesdown shopping areas.

Located within one of Bournemouth’s biggest parks, the site is nestled between facilities for cricket, football and athletics. AFC Bournemouth has its home ground within a two minute walk, and Bournemouth’s indoor bowls facility is about the same distance away.

Situated within a ten minute walk of Bournemouth’s Travel Interchange, Knyveton Gardens facilities include a café, tennis courts, and a sensory garden, which has been created with the emphasis on plants with strong scents for the visually impaired. There is also a small wildlife area and pond.

Located in the heart of Bournemouth, Meyrick Park has two greens and a tennis court. There is ample off road parking and its location puts it within a ten minute walk of all the shops of the town centre and a three minute walk from an 18 hole golf course.

Set in a residential area of the town, Moordown offers a friendly relaxed atmosphere with a café and tennis on site, and a large children’s play area.

Pelhams Park is a Green Flag site, with an historic Grade 2 Listed manor house (now the Pelhams Community Centre). There are tennis courts (bookable through Pelhams Park Leisure Centre), wild flower meadows and a children’s play park, and the local shopping facilities within Kinson are a short walk away.

Redhill is one of Bournemouth’s eleven Green Flag sites and its facilities include one full size green, tennis courts, a café, and a picnic area overlooking the children’s paddling pool. There is ample off road parking in the adjacent car park.

Richmond Park Bowling Club, set within Winton Recreation Grounds Green Flag site, has been established for over 100 years and boasts two greens and tennis facilities. Along with these, there is also a shop, a children’s play area, and limited off street parking.
