Bowling Greens in Bournemouth

Seafield Gardens bowls

Introduction

The Borough of Bournemouth has eleven outdoor bowling green sites and one indoor. Of the eleven outdoor sites, there are fifteen full-sizes greens, and one half-sized green. All sites have facilities for public play and are bookable locally.

Richmond Park Bowling Club, set within Winton Recreation Grounds Green Flag site, has been established for over 100 years and boasts two greens and tennis facilities. Along with these, there is also a shop, a children’s play area, and limited off street parking.

Set atop a hill with views across to Christchurch, Seafield Gardens is a Green Flag site. There is a fine water tower which dominates the site, two full-sized greens, tennis courts, a popular café, and children’s play facilities.
