There are 11 Area Forums in Bournemouth:
Run by residents with support from Ward Councillors, area forums are more than just a talking shop, they are your way to:
- Advise the Council and other public service providers on specific issues that affect your area;
- Have a say on new community initiatives in your neighbourhood;
- Raise issues of local concern or contention with the public services like the Police, Health Authority and Council.
They are not just for old people or young people, or those with jobs or already involved in community work, but for any resident who would like to find out more about Council issues or would like to raise something with the Council.
Please see below for dates of your next area forum. The list was updated on 8th June 2010.
