Badminton Champion Launching Regular Badminton Coaching

Helen Troke (former European and Commonwealth Champion and World Bronze Medallist) is launching regular adult badminton coaching sessions at the Littledown Centre on Tuesday 8th April 2008.

 

As part of the launch of the Helen Troke Badminton Academy at the Littledown Centre, Helen Troke is offering a FREE taster coaching session to keen badminton players on Tuesday 8th April at either 9.30am or 11.00am.

 

If you’d like to come along to either of the FREE taster coaching sessions simply choose whichever time slot suits you best, come along and join in! (Don’t forget your badminton racquet!)

 

After the launch, the Helen Troke Badminton Academy coaching sessions will run at the Littledown Centre on Tuesdays at 9.30am until 11.00am and then at 11.00am until 12.30pm and will be aimed at all levels of play, providing expert coaching and games. Prices - £6.50 per person per session.

 

Councillor Beverley Dunlop, Cabinet Member for the Economy and Tourism is pleased that the Littledown Centre is attracting such a high calibre of athlete to provide expert coaching. She said,

 

“Badminton is a great game and very popular at the Littledown Centre. This is fantastic news for us and for players who wish to improve their technique and learn from a former European and Commonwealth Games Champion.”
