A number of schools in Bournemouth will be affected if the planned strike action by teachers goes ahead on Thursday 24th April 2008.
The Council is working with schools to ensure any disruption is minimised, and also that parents are fully aware of the impact as soon as possible.
The decision to close or partially close a school as a result of the planned action will be taken by the School’s governing body with the Headteacher. Should such a decision be taken, the School should be informing parents directly.
