West Howe Alleyways

 

In Spring 2011 we asked residents who live in West Howe to name five of the alleyways| in the area to help make them more identifiable for the public as well as the emeregncy services including the Police.

 

Thanks to residents' feedback, name plaques were officially installed| in May 2011. The names chosen were:

• Poolside Walk – named after Kinson Swimming Pool
• Spitfire Walk - named after Pilot Height Road which is near by
• Osprey Lane - named after the old pub, The Osprey
• Bluebird Walk – named after the Caravan Company
• Taylor Walk - named after former Bournemouth councillor, Ted Taylor

More alleyways in West Howe are set to be named this Autumn. More information will be available here shortly.
