The Datasets section includes the following data:

Child Well-being Index (CWI) 2009| – These pages contain information relating to a recently released dataset from the CLG which seeks to illustrate levels of well-being among children. It measures well-being in various areas such as material well-being, health, education, environment, crime, housing and children in need.  The CWI scores have been ranked nationally and mapped at Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) level.

Indices of Deprivation (IMD) 2010| – In these pages you will find information relating to various measures of deprivation, such as income, employment, education and living environment deprivation, in addition to an overall deprivation score for Bournemouth. The IMD scores have been ranked, split into quintiles and mapped highlighting areas of Bournemouth which fall within, for example, the 20% most or least deprived Lower Super Output Areas (LSOAs) in England and Wales.

Business Register & Employment Survey| – These pages hold estimates of employees by industry and number of businesses by sector for Bournemouth, Dorset, Poole, the South West and Great Britain. Data is available covering 1999-2008.

Oneplace| - The Audit Commission, Care Quality Commission, HM Inspectorates of Constabulary, Prisons and Probation and Ofsted are working together to provide an independent overview of the quality of life in our area. The oneplace website shows how well local public organisations, such as Bournemouth Borough Councils and Dorset Police work together to meet local needs.

Bournemouth Key Facts| – Twenty-six interesting facts about Bournemouth.This page provides a quick reference to facts about Bournemouth such as the size, number of students, average house price and various other statistics.

Census| – Census data for 1901, 1991, and 2001 is available in this section.  The 2001 Census Atlas has a large variety of fact sheets, tables, figures, map profiles and explanatory text providing census information for Bournemouth.  For example, the Atlas includes information such as population statistics, age profiles, economic activity data, hours worked and qualifications.  Details of the 2011 Census are being posted as they become available.

Annual Population Survey (APS)| – This survey is undertaken by ONS and looks at employment status and conditions.  Information such as percentages of people in Bournemouth, the South West and England and Wales who are employed, unemployed, working full-time/part-time, with a disability etc.

Neighbourhood Statistics| – This page links to the National Statistics website where data is provided as part of the Government’s National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal.  Data for the following categories is available at various geographies: 2001 Census, crime, economic deprivation, education skills and training, health, housing, indices of deprivation, population and vital statistics and work.
