Neighbourhood Workers

Bournemouth has a  number of Neighbourhood Workers who work in different areas of Bournemouth to tackle issues that are of concern to local residents.

Neighbourhood Workers work within Resident Associations and Action Groups that focus on specific problems in an area. Additionally the neighbourhood workers liaise with organisations who can make a difference to the area, for example, Housing Associations and Police.

If there is something that is concerning you and it is Council related please get in touch. If you do not live in the areas listed below please call 01202 451165 or e-mail Linda Maguire|, Community Liaison Officer.

Please find below a list of areas that currently have neighbourhood wokers and their contact details

Neighbourhood Wardens in Boscombe West and Springbourne.

  • Two Neighbourhood Wardens work specifically in Boscombe West and Springbourne. The Wardens deal with environmental issues such as fly-tipping, graffiti, litter as well as other community issues. The Wardens serve as a link between the local community and the Council. For more information please contact Amanda Catlin or Dave Hamilton on (01202) 395512.
