Holdenhurst Village West conservation area was designated on 18th June 1974. The Council has produced a draft Conservation Area Appraisal for the area and public consultation on the document ran between 16th August and 27th September 2013.
Following the public consultation, the amended Conservation Area Appraisal will be considered by Cabinet.

Please note that the consultation draft Conservation Area Appraisal (see above) proposes a change to this boundary.
When a character appraisal has been completed the conservation section will be in a position to identify whether there are any areas which would benefit from the implementation of management/enhancement schemes.
Conservation Orders are formal certificates which confirm the designation of a conservation area. A map of the conservation area is also attached which shows the area covered by the designation.
Conservation Orders can be obtained from planning reception.
