Personal Searches

 

What is a Personal Search?

Any person may carry out a personal search of the Local Land Charges Register.  

 

The Local Land Charges section operates an appointments system. All requests need to be emailed to the Land Charges team at locallandcharges@bournemouth.gov.uk|  by 10am to include the search address and a plan of the property.  The search will be ready for collection 48 hours later. i.e. an appointment booked by 10.00am on Monday will be ready for collection at 10.00am on Wednesday.  Searches can be collected from the Customer Services reception in St Stephen’s Road.

 

If you require Local Land Charges to process Con 29 enquiries this will incur an £8.00 administration charge for processing the requests and supplying the responses through the Local Land Charges team.

What information will you receive on a Personal Search?

A personal search includes information from the Local Land Charges Register, Planning Register and Register of Enforcement Notices.
