Annual Monitoring Report

The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires local planning authorities to prepare an annual monitoring report to the Secretary of State containing information on the implementation of the local development scheme (LDS) and the extent to which the policies set out in local development documents (LDDs) are being achieved.  PPS 12 ‘Local Development Frameworks’, ODPM, September 2004, sets out the key policy requirements in terms of Local Development Framework monitoring and annual monitoring reports.
