As part of Bournemouth Borough Council's Stronger Communities Strategy the council has Council Officers who are highly experienced in fundraising, both for the statutory and voluntary sectors. The officers are available to work with voluntary organisations and charities to secure funding from a variety of sources.
If you are a voluntary group or charity in Bournemouth , there are may be a suitable grant that you can apply for. Please see below for information on:

Bournemouth Borough Council - Grants to Voluntary Organisations
The scheme for 2010-2011 is looking to support projects that involve:
Community Action - making the most of people’s talents to improve our quality of life. Includes support for Community Centres and places to meet. e.g. a community project promoting participation and involvement for the benefit of the local area/residents and tackling the social effects of poverty.
Equal Opportunities and Valuing Diversity - celebrating the diversity of and promoting good community relations between all sections of the community. We would like to support projects that bring groups together and build relationships.
