What Happens Next?

If we accept that you have a valid complaint we will spend as much time as is necessary gathering evidence to support it.

We may speak to your neighbours, the police, youth workers, housing officers, the people causing the problem, their parents if they are under 18 or even consult with the wider community.

We cannot say how long the investigation will take or promise an outcome that is satisfactory to all parties. Factors that might affect the outcome of the investigation could be the availability of evidence, costs and the willingness of others to speak out.

Throughout the duration of the complaint we will keep you informed of progress and any decisions we make to close the case, although we may not be able to share some details of the case with you due to data protection issues.

The Council may not have the ability or capacity to resolve some cases.

If you would like to report an anti-social behaviour incident(s) please call 01202 451199.

If you are in council residence and would like to report an anti-social behaviour incident(s) please visit the Council Housing Section of our website.
