In preparation for Bournemouth's Local Area Agreement, in 2006/07 the Safer & Stronger Communities Forum addressed four outcomes:
- Reduce crime, fear of crime, perceptions of anti-social behaviour and harm caused by illegal drugs
- Cleaner, safer, greener public spaces
- Increase capacity of local communities to participate in local decision making and influence service delivery
- Improving the quality of life in the most disadvantated communities and ensure service providers are more responsive to neighbourhood needs and improve the delivery
For full details of the outcomes view the Safer & Stronger Communities Fund Agreement 2006/07.
During the 2007-2010 period the Safer & Stronger Communities Forum will be delivering on the Safer & Stronger Communities block within Bournemouth's Local Area Agreement.
Three groups exist to address the outcomes:
- Crime & Disorder Reduction Co-ordinators Group
- Bournemouth Liveability Group (cleaner, greener)
- Neighbourhood Working Strategy Group
