The revamped Customer Service branch based at St Stephens Road opened for business on 30th January 2006 with a great new look and improved customer service options.

There new features include a queuing system to help reduce waiting times, a play area for children, self-service points where you can access the Council’s website and get the information you need or maybe pay a bill on-line, new seating, interview rooms if you need them, and one that fully meets disability requirements and a new reception point with one of our trained staff to help you. 

You can get all the same services that were available before, including benefits, council tax, housing solutions, environmental health, licensing and registrars but you’ll also be able to ask more of those general enquiries. 

We promise to do our best to help you with whatever query you may have. 

Cllr Stephen MacLoughlin Leader of Bournemouth Council said:

“I am pleased that the revamped St Stephen’s Road Customer Services Centre is now open for business.  It is an example of how Bournemouth Council is now becoming more responsive to the public it serves.  People should notice the difference that these new facilities and the training of staff make to their experience when dealing with the Council”.

He went on to add, “I would welcome suggestions on how we can further improve performance, including any feedback about this initiative.”
