dorset architectural heritage week

Architectural Heritage Week offers a programme of events throughout Dorset which are organised by Dorset’s Local Authorities in association with East Dorset Heritage Trust.  The week, held annually in September, is a celebration of Dorset’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.

It provides an opportunity to visit buildings which are not normally open to the public, or which usually charge an entry fee, and to chat to their owners or guardians.  There are also chances to go on guided walks, listen to talks and enjoy the County’s historic environment.

The Dorset Architectural Heritage Week has its own website which is hosted by the East Dorset Heritage Trust and can be viewed by clicking here.
