Listed Buildings

The special architectural or historic interest of some of Bournemouth’s buildings has been recognised through their designation as a listed building.

A booklet entitled ‘Bournemouth’s Listed Buildings’ identifies all the listed buildings in Bournemouth and provides some useful information for owners and/or occupiers.

This can be obtained from planning reception.

A list of all the Listed Buildings in Bournemouth can also be accessed by clicking here.

Information on individual listed buildings

A copy of the Statutory List for the Borough is available for public inspection at the Planning reception and copies of individual entries can also be obtained.

Information on some list entries may also be accessed from Images of England.  This is a project which is run by English Heritage which aims to create a photographic record of every listed building in England.

Additional information on Bournemouth’s Listed Buildings can also be viewed by clicking here.
