Bournemouth Library Floor Plans

Bournemouth Library is an extensive (3,850 sqm) library space which opened in 2002.

The entrance is on the ground floor and, as well as the stairs, there are two lifts from the ground floor foyer to the other floors.

There are special 'Zones' for Children, Teens, Lending and Reference Information (Ask Here) on the first floor, and on the second floor are the Music and local Heritage Zones.

More about Facilities...

Study tables are provided on both floors as well as areas of comfortable seating for relaxing and reading.

Ballards cafe is next door to Bournemouth Library's entrance on the ground floor. It is open from 8.30 to 5.30 each day that Bournemouth Library is open. There are many other cafes, pubs and sandwich shops in the immediate area.

Better Building Award

Bournemouth Libary won the Prime Minister's Better Public Buildings Award in 2003.
