Using the Home Library Service
Are you housebound or unable to get to your local library? If you have no one who is able to collect books or other material for you we may be able to arrange for them to be delivered to your home at regular intervals.
People who live in sheltered housing and are unable to visit their local library are also eligible for the housebound service.
If you live in a residential establishment we have another service available.
Are you a carer who finds it difficult to get out to your local library for the person you are caring for? If so, we may be able to assist you.
Library materials are delivered to your home by volunteers and visits are made every three weeks, to a regular timetable.
All volunteers who work with the Library Services have been properly vetted.
