(Please note Business Rate payments cannot be accepted by credit card)

PLEASE NOTE: By clicking on the HSBC symbol below, you will initially connect to Bournemouth Borough Council’s secure server for on-line payments, where it will be necessary to complete your contact details, in the case of any queries regarding your payment.

When this has been completed, you will need to tell the system what you are paying for, by clicking on ‘Add Item…”

You should then choose whether you are paying a Council Tax or Business Rate account and type the reference to which the payment should be credited and the payment amount. You can add other lines if you wish, or “Delete Items” if you made any mistakes.

When finished, click on “Next” to start the payment process. You will be shown details of the amount being paid and by what method. Selecting credit card will automatically add a £2.50 surcharge. Bournemouth Borough Council is unable to accept payments for Business Rates by credit card.                                                                                                          

When you are happy to proceed, click on “Pay”.

This will then link to ‘Secure ePayments’ from HSBC. Click on “Continue”, where you will be shown the debit amount. Please complete the relevant card details and click “Continue”.

You will be shown a confirmation page, which you must verify as correct, before clicking to “Proceed”.

The next screen confirms your payment and if you wish, this can be printed for your records, then closed.

You will then be redirected back to Bournemouth Borough Council’s website, where you will be shown a receipt for your payment, which you can also print, if you wish.
