What is the Community Legal Service Fund?

The Community Legal Service Fund (which was known as "Legal Aid") provides financial support to people who cannot afford legal services, as long as they meet certain conditions.  A solicitor or adviser will be able to tell you if you qualify for help. Alternatively, click here to link to the legal aid calculator to help you work out if you would be eligible for any help.

For more detailed information click here to link to the Community Legal Service Direct website which offers information from legal aid solicitors, Citizens Advice Bureaux & law centres and can help you find local legal advice. Alternatively you can call CLS on 0845 345 4345.
