Bournemouth Care Direct provides information and access to services to help adults and older people.
You can ask us about:

Who can we help?
Bournemouth Care Direct offers support to:

Older people
- Disabled people
- People who have learning disabilities
- People with mental health difficulties
- Family and friends who care for people at home - their carers
- Tenants of privately owned housing and owner-occupiers who have problems with the condition of their homes.
What do we do?
We have skilled workers trained to deal with your enquiry who can:

Give information about the support that you need. This may be about day centres, home care, care homes, housing, equipment suppliers or other organisations providing support.
- Take requests for Social Services Community Care services. We will ask for some information and pass the details to our social work staff who will arrange to visit you to assess your needs. If there is a crisis situation we provide an immediate response service.
- Give information on benefits and pensions.
- Give information on housing including Housing Improvement Grants and Loans, Disabled Faciliities Grants or other housing needs you may have.
