From April 2008, Bournemouth Borough Council can now offer your business a range of methods to dispose of your waste and recycling!

We can provide colour coded 70 litre bags and a range of bins for the material you wish to dispose of.

What waste can we collect?

Commercial refuse

General refuse can be disposed of in Orange 70 litre sacks or a bin collection tailored to your businesses needs.  

Co mingled Recycling

We can arrange co mingled recycling collections in both sacks or bins with the following materials being collected: 

• Paper
• Cardboard
• Glass Jars and Bottles 
• Aluminium and Steel Cans
• Plastic Bottles and Tops

We can also collect single stream recycling:

Single stream - paper

All types of office paper, newspapers, magazines, shredded paper, envelopes, (including windowed) and directories can be collected for recycling in Blue 70 litre sacks.

Single Stream - Cardboard

We collect cardboard in bundles. The weight of each bundle is therefore limited to approxiamately 15kg to ensure that it can be safely lifted by one person. For collection, cardboard will need to be flattened and tied with string or flattened and stacked in one large un flattened box. Each bundle will be identified for collection with a recycling sticker which we will provide.
