The hours of opening are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm by appointment only and Saturday mornings by appointment only for weddings and couples serving notice of their intention to marry, which is also by appointment.
We hold all birth, death and marriage registers for Bournemouth dating back to 1837.

The fees for a copy certificate are as follows:

All cheques should be made payable to Bournemouth Borough Council.
The information we require to provide a copy certificate is:-
- Full name of the person(s) included in the registration
- Date of the event including day, month and year
- Location of the event, for instance, if a wedding, did it take place in the Register Office, licenced venue or church.
