Surrounded by some of the most famous gardens in the UK, the impressive Town Hall in the centre of Bournemouth offers a unique venue for your civil ceremony. The magnificent facade of this prestigious building provides a spectacular entrance for you and your guests.
The Victorian splendour and architectural grandeur has been retained along the vast corridors and echo to past pageantry as they lead to the ceremony suites.
Our friendly staff will be delighted to advise you on all aspects of your ceremony and assist you and your guests on the day.
The Council Chamber
The oak panelled Council Chamber with its domed ceiling, galleries and curved seating has a truly statesman-like air. The room accommodates up to 130 persons. Ceremonies are booked at 2 hourly intervals, each ceremony lasts approximately half an hour and ceremonies take place every day, including Sundays and Bank Holidays. The last booking available is at 4.30pm.
The Willows
The Willows is a timeless and elegant room, richly decorated and enhanced by crystal chandeliers. Ceremonies are conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in this formal setting. The Willows can accommodate up to 50 guests. Ceremonies are only available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and are booked every half hour and last approximately 20 minutes. The last ceremony on Thursdays and Fridays is at 3pm and 12 noon on Saturdays. There are no Sunday or Bank Holiday ceremonies.
The Register Office
A small room accommodating up to 10 guests for those who want a small private affair. Ceremonies are booked every half hour and last approximately 10 minutes. The last ceremony during the week, Monday to Friday is at 3pm and 12 noon on Saturdays. There are no Sunday or Bank Holiday ceremonies.
