We Value Diversity
In Housing Landlord Services we value the ethnic and religious diversity of our tenants & leaseholders, staff, Council members and wider community groups.
So far we have consulted with many local ethnic and religious groups including the Dorset African, Caribbean Association (DACA), Women's United Multi-Cultural Group, Persian & Farsi speaking group and both Jewish and Muslim Bournemouth communities.
In addition, we continue to consult and support groups such as the Portuguese and Thai Community Groups and other voluntary organisations and religious groups.
We are also pleased to hear from other groups that may not belong to an organised religion but may have beliefs and morals of their own such as Humanists.
We welcome contact and comments from the various ethnic communities and are also aware of the strong regional identity of our English, Welsh, Irish and Scottish stakeholders.

If you are receiving racial harassment you can either report it to us using the e-mail below or direct to the Dorset Race Equality Council

If you report a racial incident to us we will share the information with other bodies such as the Police if you agree to this. You can report racial incidents without us having to know your name or address if you don't want this recorded.
Black History Month
October is Black History month and there will be activities throughout the month in Bournemouth in support of this. We work closely with the Dorset African & Caribbean Association (DACA) and subscribe to their quarterly ethnic news and culture magazine called 'Pulse'.
