Your Right to Appeal - Please read the following carefully before making your appeal
If you feel you should not have been given a ticket, you have the right to appeal to the Council.
Your case will be assessed and, if it is found that the ticket was issued in error, it will be cancelled and you will not have to pay. Do not make payment now.
If the Council decides that it was correctly issued, we will advise you and our communication will also explain how you can ask for an independent appeal hearing. This will be held by an impartial, legal representative who will reassess your case and give an adjudication either at a personal hearing or by telephone or post. The decision is final and binding on both parties. Appeals made against the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice in the Bournemouth area are no longer heard in the Magistrates Court.
Evidence to support your appeal. If you wish to send documentary evidence to support your appeal, such as proof of change of ownership, loading or unloading evidence, medical evidence or a pay and display ticket please email your evidence to parkingshop@bournemouth.gov.uk as we are unable to accept attachments through the web pages.
