If applying for a car park specific permit please tell us which car park you would require the permit for.

We regret that we only have a limited number of permits available and we may have to place your name on a waiting list. We will however let you know and also advise you when a permit becomes available.

 (if your hold a site specific permit for a Prime Site Car Park and your car park of issue is full you may park in Central Car Park in Upper Hinton Road)

PERMIT CONDITIONS OF USE

The permit is issued subject to the conditions of the Borough of Bournemouth (Off-Street Parking Places) Order

1. The onus is on the applicant to provide correct registration details at time of applying. Failure to do this will mean that the applicant is laible for any Penalty Charge Notices issued and an admin charge of £5.00 to correct it.
2. The purchase of a permit DOES NOT guarantee the avaiability of a space except where it applies to a car park offering reserved spaces.
3. The permit is valid for the car park of issue only.
4. For permits valid in Bournemouth Town Centre Car Parks, listed as Prime Site Location, if the car park of issue is full, you may use Central Car Park in Upper Hinton Road.
5. Lansdowne Road permit holders may park in Lansdowne Road Pay and Display Car Park when Lansdowne Road Permit Holders car park is full. 
6. General Permits are valid in the following car parks: Central, Richmond Hill, Durley Road, Madeira Road West, Madeira Road South, Leyton Mount, Berry Court, West Hill, Terrace Road and Cotlands Road. Please note the General Permit is not valid in Richmond Gardens or Terrace Gardens Car Parks.
7. The permit is not transferable to another vehicle unless it is a permanent change. If you are using another vehicle temporarily the required fee must be paid in the car park UNLESS PRIOR NOTICE IS GIVEN TO THIS OFFICE. Telephone 01202 451268
8. When changing please follow the instructions on the reverse of your permit. An administrative charge of £5.00 will be payable.
9. The permit must be displayed in the holder provided inside the windscreen and remains the property of Bournemouth Borough Council. Failure to display the permit will make the driver liable to a Penalty Charge Notice.
10. In exceptional circumstances we may allow two registrations on one permit. In such cases a Penalty Charge Notice issued for non-display of a valid permit MAY NOT BE CANCELLED.
11. If you lose your permit you must report this to us immediately. An administrative charge of £10.00 will be charged. A replacement Richmond Gardens access card will cost £25.00
12. RENEWALS Due to the high demand for permits you must renew your permit on or before the expiry date. Please supply your old permit or it’s number. If we do not receive your renewal in time we may not have a permit available for your car park of choice. New permits only begin from the first day of each month..
13. Cars and their contents are parked and left entirely at the owner’s risk. The Council does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage by or to any third party.
14. Permits will only be issued to vehicles under 1500kg to comply with the current Bournemouth Borough Council Off Street Parking Order.
15. Permit holders need to adhere to the rules and regulations of the car park which are displayed on entry to the car park.
16. REFUNDS You may apply for a refund if your permit has more than 2 months unexpired. Refunds will not be issued for monthly or quarterly permits. The unexpired period will be calculated from the beiginning of the next calendar month.An administrative charge of £10 00 will be charged.
17. TERMINATION The Council giving 2 months notice in writing may terminate permits. Refunds will be given on a pro rata basis for the unexpired time.
