Public Participation
Consultation on the Provisional LTP was extended to all neighbouring local authorities and all key groups. A full list is available from the link below. This has ensured that the strategy of the Plan is compatible within the region and that differences for example between rural and urban areas are properly addressed and co-ordinated within the relevant Plans.
Copies of the Plan were also available for purchase or viewing by major employers, consultants, the public and other interest groups.
The intention of this consultation exercise was to establish the views and feedback from those organisations and individuals that had READ the provisional LTP.
