This report is an integral element of the Local Transport Plan and has three main purposes:

1. It provides an interim report on how the Councils are meeting the aims & objectives the Local Transport Plan.
2. It provides base information and target setting for the long-term monitoring of the Local Transport Plan.
3. It sets out all the existing available transport-related data, thus continuing a long-standing commitment in producing an annual Transport Statistics report.
