How to make a complaint

If you are a service user or a representative of a service user and you have a complaint about the service being provided you should first approach the Service Provider using their complaints procedure.

If the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction then you can bring the complaint to the attention of the Supporting People Team, either verbally or in writing, using the contact details on the back of this leaflet.

Members of the public or service staff should approach the Supporting People Team directly.

Confidentiality

If you wish your complaint to remain confidential we will respect that. However the Team cannot always act on anonymous complaints.

There may also be some types of complaints where we would be unable to maintain complete confidentiality — for example where a person is at risk of harm.
