Bournemouth has also written a summary of this strategy.
The Supporting People Strategy and Five Year Plan for Bournemouth sets out the commissioning aims for housing-related support services for vulnerable people over the next five years. The document details current support provision and explores the needs for Bournemouth, setting targets for service delivery by the year 2010.
The Supporting People Shadow Strategy was written in 2003 and set out the first position of housing-related support services in Bournemouth. The Strategy and 5 Year Plan builds on the work undertaken to develop the Shadow Strategy.
Our Communications and Consultation Strategy 'seeks to communicate and consult in an open and two-way manner with those who have an interest in the Supporting People programme,' and this Strategy sets out how we plan to achieve this.

This Homelessness Strategy sets out what needs to be done to tackle homelessness in Bournemouth over the next four years. Homelessness remains a serious issue for the Borough and there are still challenges to be met that are addressed in this Strategy. The Strategy has been developed with the input of local people and community representatives and through wide ranging consultation.
The Housing plan for People with Learning Disabilities sets out the what type of accommodation, care and support is available for people with a learning disability.
Move On Strategy 2008
The Move On Strategy 2008 sets out the aims of Housing and Supporting People to promote move on for people moving on from supported housing in Bournemouth.
