A wide range of groups and events to support carers of people with dementia are run through the Alzheimer’s Society, including a special support group for carers of people with early onset dementia. These take place during the day and evening. Some activities are just for carers, others are for carers and the person they look after.

A friendly informal support group for carers, relatives and friends living in Poole, caring for those with mental health difficulties. Every alternate meeting, a speaker talks on a wide range of mental health and carers issues. Other meetings are for general discussion and support. An ideal opportunity to meet others in the same situation. There is no charge to attend the group.
